    Abstract:

Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is one of the main causes of death from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases worldwide. Rapid and efficient diagnosis of AMI plays an important role in the treatment and prognosis of the disease. Studies suggest that microRNA (miRNA) may be an important molecular marker for the diagnosis of AMI and provide directions for AMI treatment. This review summarizes the feasibility of miRNA as a diagnostic marker for AMI, its effect on AMI and its related molecular mechanisms.
