Abstract:

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a common autosomal dominant genetic disease with an incidence of about 0.2% to 0.5% in the population. It is characterized by unexplained asymmetric hypertrophy of the left ventricle and interventricular septum. The clinical symptoms include fatigue, dyspnea, chest pain, syncope, etc. At present, western medicine treatment methods for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy mainly include drug treatment, interventional treatment, etc.Traditional Chinese medicine has also accumulated effective experience in the treatment of this disease. This article will focus on the current status and progress of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, in order to provide a certain reference for the clinical treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
