    Abstract:

    Atherosclerosis is the pathological basis of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Chronic inflammatory reaction and endothelial dysfunction play an important role in the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis. In recent years, some new markers of endothelial injury and inflammation have been identified, including Endoglin (CD105), Endocan, Apelin, and chemokines. This article mainly introduces the role of Endoglin in atherosclerosis.
