    Abstract:

    Venous thromboembolism is a common and frequently occurring disease. Inferior vena cava (IVC) filter is a device designed to avoid pulmonary embolism(PE). There has been a long history for its development. With being widely used nowadays, recyclable filters become the direction. This article will briefly summarize the characteristics of various filters.
