    Abstract:

    Myocardial infarction is a common disease of the cardiovascular system which affects human health seriously. Pathogenesis of myocardial infarction is not fully clarified yet. Currently,interleukin-8 is believed to plays an important role in the development of myocardial infarction. Interleukin-8 not only modulates inflammation,but also stimulates angiogenesis. This review elaborates the progress of research of interleukin-8 in myocardial infarction.
