    Abstract:

Aim To study the new combinatorial compounds of curcumin transformated by M.purureus went of curcumin and its anti-low density lipoprotein(LDL)-oxidation properties. Methods The strain M.purureus went was used for microbial transformation.A copper-induced human LDL oxidation model and macrophage LDL oxidation model were set to study the anti-LDL-oxidation properties. The antioxidant activities were assessed on the basis of the relative remove mobility(REM) on agarose gel electrophoresis and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances(TBARS). Results The metabolites of curcumin can significantly inhibit the LDL oxidation at concentration range of 4~500 mg/L compared with substrate control and strain control both in Cu2+-induced and macrophage mediated(P<0.001). Conclusion AntiLDL-oxidation properties of curcumin metabolites transformed by M.purureus went were proved to be enhanced.
