    Abstract:

Aim To study the effects on the proliferation of ramification of Curcumin hydrolyzed by HCl(RCH) on the bovine vascular smooth muscle cell(VSMC) and the expression of low density lipoprotein receptor(LDLR).Method Curcumin was hydrolyzed by HCl,the proliferation models of the bovine VSMC were stimulated by ox-LDL,MTT was used to observe its effects on proliferation of the bovine VSMC.FCM was used to observe its effects of expression of LDLR.The c-myc mRNA was measured by RT-PCR.Results Ramification of Curcumin Hydrolyzed have obvious effect on anti-proliferation of VSMC stimulated by 10 mg/L ox-LDL(p<0.01).And it can obviously increase the expression of LDLR of VSMC and down-regulate the expression of c-myc.Conclusion Ramification of Curcumin hydrolyzed have obvious effect on anti-proliferation of VSMC,and it can increase the expression of LDLR.That may be the mechanism of delaying the development of arteriosclerosis.
