A sandwich enzyme linked immunosor bent assay(ELISA)for quantitation of human serum apolipoprotein E was developed with rabbit polyclonal antibodies and horseradish peroxidase labelled mouse monoclonal antibodies against human apolipoprotein E.The estabolished method has been evaluated to have the following advandages:high specificity and sensitivity,easy operation and good reproducibility with 5.17% intraassay CV and 8.62% interassay CV.The developed method tan been widely used in basical med ical reseach and clinical laboratory.
